Futures Outage and Venezuela Update ?3

A crucial CME data center was down all night due to a cooling failure.  This halted American equity and many other futures but the issue appears to have just been resolved.  Still it represents the longest outage ever.

More broadly, there continues to be little doubt about the ramp data center investment, but this link shows even industry veterans beginning to echo this service's critiques against LLMs.  A market reckoning based on lack of profitability & security, or the underlying financing, may still be far off, though, and Google still looks to be best positioned on all fronts.

Trump has stated that land operations against Venezuela will start "very soon".  This follows efforts to cut off Russian oil supplies to the country whose results can best be described as mixed.  America certainly has the firepower in the region to completely oust Maduro if desired, and some speculate that military action won't stop there.  International response from allies so far is understated and market reaction is likely to depend on the form and duration of action, with more human exposure being worse, of course.
